1. About these terms

These terms apply when you request a quote from or book a job with Frankie Moving and Junk Removal("we", "us"), a business in British Columbia, Canada. By requesting a quote or booking a job, you agree to them.

2. Our services

We provide residential moving, commercial moving, junk removal, furniture removal, appliance disposal and same-day service in British Columbia. Long-distance and out-of-province moves are available on request. Packing and any extras are priced into your quote based on the job.

3. Quotes and pricing

Requesting a quote through our website is free, and there is no obligation to book. To get a final price, you send us photos or a video of the items or job on WhatsApp. We review them and send you a final written price that includes every fee except applicable taxes.

That price is final unless the job is bigger than what you showed us or described. If it is, we will agree any change with you before doing extra work.

If your plans change after you receive your price, ask us to confirm it is still current before you book.

4. Payment

You pay after you accept the final price, using a payment method we agree with you.

5. Rescheduling and cancelling

Rescheduling is free. You can cancel at no charge at any time before the job starts, and we will refund anything you have paid in full. Please contact us as early as you can so we can adjust our schedule. See our Refund Policy.

6. Your responsibilities

To help the job go safely and as quoted, please:

• Give us accurate details, and photos or a video that show the full job
• Make sure we can access the property on the agreed date, including parking and any elevator bookings
• Disconnect all appliances (gas, water and electrical) before our crew arrives. We recommend using a licensed gas fitter for gas appliances
• Tell us in advance about anything fragile, valuable or unusually heavy
• Keep cash, jewellery, important documents and medication with you

7. Items we don't handle

We do not transport or dispose of hazardous materials, including paint, chemicals, asbestos, propane tanks or medical waste. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, contact us before booking. Junk is disposed of through appropriate facilities.

8. Our right to refuse or stop a job

We may decline a job, or stop one, if conditions are unsafe, if we are asked to handle items we don't take, or if our crew is treated abusively. If we cancel before the job starts, we will refund anything you have paid in full.

9. Damage and loss

We take care with your belongings. Please report any damage within 6 hours of the job being completed so we can inspect it quickly. Reports made after this will still be reviewed. Contact us at [email protected] or +1 (604) 518-9118, with photos if you can.

We are not responsible for loss or damage we did not cause, such as damage or wear that was there before the job, or for delays caused by things outside our control, such as weather, traffic or building access. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility we have that cannot be limited under British Columbia law, including responsibility for our own negligence.

10. Your privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If we can't resolve it together, you can use British Columbia's Civil Resolution Tribunal for many small claims, or the courts of British Columbia.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under British Columbia consumer protection law.

13. Changes and severability

We may update these terms. The version on our website on the date you book applies to your job. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
